Questions
FAQ
Short answers. The mechanics in full are on the how-it-works and transparency pages.
What does it cost to launch?+
Nothing. Slot Zero’s deployer wallet pays the Solana rent and network fees for every pool. You do not need a wallet to launch.
Do I, the creator, get any tokens or fees?+
No. There is no creator allocation, no dev buy and no creator fee share. That is the point: nobody has an edge at Block 0, and the platform’s fees go back into the coin instead of to a person.
Then why would I launch here?+
Because traders trust it. A coin whose supply is only ever bought on the open market, whose ticker cannot be copied for an hour, and whose fees burn supply every 3 minutes is an easier coin to rally people behind. You still hold whatever you buy like everyone else.
What is the anti-sniper fee?+
A Meteora fee scheduler on the bonding curve. The trading fee starts at 50% and decays exponentially to 1% over 3 minutes. Bots that rush the first seconds pay most of their trade in fees, and those fees get burned back into the coin.
Why does a launch need a tweet?+
Two reasons. It gives every coin a public origin that the coin page embeds, and it stops copycats: a tweet URL can only ever launch one coin.
How does the ticker lock work?+
After a coin launches, its ticker (case-insensitive) cannot be launched again for 60 minutes. The check runs inside a single database transaction behind an advisory lock, so two people hitting launch at the same instant still produce exactly one coin.
Where do the fees come from and where do they go?+
On the bonding curve every buy and sell pays the scheduler fee in SOL. After graduation the DAMM v2 pool charges 1%, also collected in SOL. Meteora keeps its protocol share; Slot Zero’s entire share is claimed by the treasury wallet, swapped into the same coin and burned. Developers withdraw nothing.
How often do buybacks happen?+
A worker runs every 3 minutes. For each coin it claims pending fees; if the total reaches the minimum buyback size it swaps SOL for the coin and burns everything it received. Smaller amounts roll over to the next run so nothing is lost to dust.
Can the team pause or redirect the buybacks?+
The treasury wallet is the fee claimer, so technically the key holder could stop running the worker. What it cannot do is change where fees flow silently: every claim, swap and burn is a public transaction linked from the coin page and the transparency page. Compare claims against burns at any time.
What happens at graduation?+
When the curve collects its SOL threshold, Meteora migrates the coin to a DAMM v2 pool. 100% of the liquidity is permanently locked, so it can never be pulled. The locked positions still earn fees, and the worker keeps claiming and burning them.
Which wallets can I trade with?+
The coin page embeds Jupiter, so any Solana wallet works. Jupiter routes Meteora DBC and DAMM v2 pools, before and after graduation.
Is there a rate limit on launching?+
3 launches per IP per hour, plus a Cloudflare Turnstile check on the form. IPs are stored only as salted hashes.
Does a buyback mechanism guarantee the price goes up?+
No buyback mechanism can guarantee price performance. Burning supply reduces the number of tokens, but price is set by the market. Memecoins are highly risky. Not financial advice.
